Going away? Not before you read these travel tips from @thisgirlcanorganise
If you're anything like us at CG HQ, you're probably dreaming of your next holiday or mini break. Whether it's a Summer holiday with the family, a weekend break with your friends or a solo trip for some time out, it's always exciting to plan ahead. Our new collection 'City Break' is inspired by European cities with its pretty hearts, peachy pink and fun loop print, and it got us thinking about those memory making mini breaks and the million dollar question...what to pack? So, to help you (OK, and us), we asked Nicola from @thisgirlcanorganise, an expert in streamlining lives - from homes to handbags, suitcases to sock drawers for her top tips for packing for a city break....
Pack Light: Stick to essentials and versatile clothing to minimise your luggage weight. Wear the bulky items to the airport, take miniature toiletries and beauty samples, pack clothing that can be worn in a variety of ways, take a linen spray to freshen your clothes.
Weather Check: Research the forecast, this helps you pack accordingly and prevents you bringing too much.
Comfortable Shoes: City exploration often involves walking, so comfortable shoes, good socks are crucial and so are plasters and a good foot cream!
Travel bag: consider a small backpack, this is great at the airport and also when you get to the destination as you're able to carry essentials like water, snacks, and any purchases you pick up along the way!
Tech Essentials: Don't forget your phone charger, adapter with a usb or usc socket, and a power bank for your devices. Pack them in a small tech carrier and store in your hand luggage.
Travel Insurance: Ensure you have appropriate coverage for your travels. Also take a photo of your passport, and debit cards should you accidentally lose them on your travels.
Maps and Apps: Download city maps and relevant travel apps to navigate efficiently. Compare tour prices and reviews before booking.
And with that, we're all booked, packed and ready to go! Where are you off to next?
