This is how Leslie Knope, one of the characters in the American comedy show Parks and recreation, defined Galentine. Leslie Knope was the show’s Deputy Director of the Parks and Recreation Department of the fictional city of Pawnee. She was known for her enthusiasm, positive attitude and love for waffles. And it was waffles she chose to celebrate Galentine with her lady friends.
We’re sure you’ve guessed it by now… Galentine is a day dedicated to the celebration of friendships.
